Introduction to Cinema theories" Christopher Nolan as a model"
Abstract:Film theories stemming from the cognitive model deal with critical vision, hence it is called film criticism or critical theory. As they examine the social context (outside the cinematic), they examine cinema from a critical point of view and seek to formulate a possible answer to the question of constructing knowledge about reality. They study the ideological, social and economic implications of reality outside cinema and their modes of expression in cinema and formulate cinematic criticism accordingly. Film criticism rarely criticizes the film itself, and attempts to give a different meaning or interpretation to the way we perceive the film. The factors that led to the development of film criticism were the development of new cinematic styles, as happened in the movie "Citizen Kane", an American drama film produced in 1941, directed by Orson Welles. The “author theory”: the director is the actual author of the film, which placed the director at the center and allowed him to secure an ideology or engage in a topic.
