Abstract
The topic of the contribution of the International Criminal Court to the establishment of transitional justice deals with the definition of the concept of transitional justice which has been associated with societies in conflict and post-conflict period, which is a legal model that depends on the judicial and non-judicial powers, and is totally different from the classical conception of justice embodied in the judiciary.
This is why the Secretary-General of the United Nations, in his report submitted to the Security Council in 2004 on the rule of law and transitional justice, hailed the achievement of the contemporary international community in creating an International Criminal Court which has the character of permanence, and the use of it to achieve an important part of what transitional justice requires.
