Freedom of Association Work in Algeria: Between the Legal Framework and the Scope of Practice 2012 - 2019

Abstract

The Law on Associations No. (12-06) that repealed Law No. (90-31) has introduced many legal reforms in the field of freedom of association work in Algeria, In order to keep pace with local and regional developments, And to simplify the procedures for establishing associations and to facilitate their work by subjecting them to an administrative organization that enables them to conduct their work and to identify sources of financing for them due to the importance of the financial aspect as a fundamental factor for the continuity of association work, However, field practice has shown that this law suffers from many deficiencies, which have negatively affected this freedom.
