Investing in Wind Energy as a tool for Sustainable Development in Algeria

Abstract

Wind energy is one of the renewable energies that takes an important place within the plans of countries related to investment and sustainable development. Algeria is one of the countries that has set among its important programs a program for the participation of renewable energies - including wind energy - in the total production of electric energy in the range of 2011-2030. Through this study, we will focus on the Algerian investment in wind energy in order to achieve and raise sustainable development, and find out the extent of the success of the planned projects in this field.
