Abstract

The recognition of the principle of non-discrimination as a fundamental principle within the international human rights system, including conventions and declarations is a crucial step in the international human rights movement. In fact, it constitutes a legal guarantee that allows all individuals without distinction to enjoy their rights and freedoms. However, despite this arsenal of treaties, discriminatory practices still exist among human beings which consequently deprive a large people of their fundamental rights.
