Therefore, it is essential to follow certain regulations related to the transportation of hazardous goods and to have a precise classification of these goods, especially concerning their packaging and shipping, due to their physical and chemical characteristics. These goods can include explosives and toxic substances. The most important outcome of this is the necessity to create a list that specifies hazardous goods, their location on the ship, and their classification based on their level of hazard.
