Abstract

Despite the developments that occurred in the field of translation, translation in its traditional form still maintains its position in the literary, artistic, scientific, and even legal field, where it received the attention of national author laws. And the international convention system in the field of literary and artistic property, as a form of exploitation of protected original works, as well as due to its importance in transferring knowledge and cultures into different languages ​​that the recipient understands and is aware of their content. Since the translation produces a work based on a pre-existing work, and entitles its owner to rights over it and means of enforcement to protect these rights, translation works remain subordinate to the works derived from them despite some aspects of the independence they enjoy.
