The public institution as a method for managing public facilities in Algeria

Abstract

Public facilities provide essential services related to the needs of society and its collective life. As these needs evolve, it is essential for public facilities to adapt, especially considering the growth of civil awareness. Historically, public facilities primarily encompassed administrative aspects such as defense, justice, and security. However, in contemporary times, various facilities with economic and social functions have emerged to address public needs. These have evolved due to scientific and technological advancements, necessitating the establishment of a legal framework for their effective management. Public institutions have been created to efficiently oversee and administer these facilities.
