The Implications of the New Arab Regional System on the Arab League
Main Article Content
Abstract
The Arab regime and the League of Arab States are at crossroads, after the social movement and the Arab Spring revolutions produced changes to try to implant democracy, through attempts to liquidate and end the Palestinian cause. The Emirati and Bahraini steps came to sign normalization agreements with Israel in September 2020, and it is expected that they will follow in the same step other Arab countries. What can be concluded is that the alternative plan for the Arab regional system has its features drawn according to precise plans, based on overthrowing the Arab system and undermining its pillars to bypass the traditional geographical system, the stage of Arab nationalism and previous ideologies, to a new stage in which economic and financial blocs and groupings prevail, and in which Israel will be the “dominant power” Due to its technological and economic superiority.
