Main Article Content
Abstract
This book explains how the creeds of Islamic dispute resolution shape the Islamic milieu’s views of international law. "Emilia Justyna Powell" answers the core questions about whether the Islamic legal tradition –according to the author’s expression- is incompatible with international law or not, and how do states of the Islamic milieu view international courts, mediation, and arbitration? Therefore, the problematic of this book is about the effect of Islamic sharia grounded in the domestic legal systems of Islamic countries, on their outlook on managing international disputes.
