Become a Reviewer for Passerelle

Passerelle welcomes qualified scholars who wish to contribute to the journal’s scientific quality through rigorous, ethical, and constructive peer review. This page explains how to join our reviewer community and how the review workflow operates on the ASJP platform. For ethical duties and evaluation criteria, please consult our Reviewer Guidelines.

2. Step 2 – Complete the Reviewer Candidature Form

Once your ASJP account is ready, you may fill out the official Reviewer Candidature Form. This form confirms your willingness to join the scientific and reading committee of Passerelle.

3. Step 3 – Editorial Approval & Invitation

After receiving your candidature, the Editor-in-Chief or an Associate Editor will evaluate your profile. If accepted, you will be added to the reviewer database for future assignments.

How Invitations Work
  • You receive an email notification through ASJP when a manuscript matches your expertise.
  • You must check for conflicts of interest before accepting the invitation.
  • If you accept, the manuscript and all files become accessible from your ASJP reviewer dashboard.
  • If you decline, please do so promptly so the editor can assign another reviewer.

4. Step 4 – Accessing the Manuscript & Completing the Review

All reviewing actions take place inside your ASJP account.

Your ASJP Review Workflow
  • 1. Log in: Access your reviewer dashboard in ASJP.
  • 2. Download the manuscript: Retrieve the anonymized file and any supplementary materials.
  • 3. Evaluate the manuscript: Follow the ethical and methodological principles described in the Reviewer Guidelines.
  • 4. Complete the ASJP Review Form:
    • Quantitative ratings (if required)
    • Comments to the Author (anonymous, constructive)
    • Confidential Comments to the Editor
    • Final Recommendation (Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, Reject)
  • 5. Upload optional annotated files (anonymized).
