Abstract

Artificial intelligence in the field of GFL didactics has become an unavoidable topic for the learning and teaching of German as a foreign language and is therefore the subject of intense discussion in the current literature. Against this background, the aim is to take an in-depth look at the topic of "Artificial intelligence and GFL didactics". The aim is to examine and reflect on the didactic possibilities of artificial intelligence in teaching practice. The AI applications relate to writing didactics and internal differentiation, among other things. The didactic implications for GFL lessons will also be discussed. It also addresses the opportunities and limitations of artificial intelligence. This article therefore deals with the following problem: How can artificial intelligence be used more effectively and efficiently in GFL lessons? For this purpose, the latest literature on the use of artificial intelligence is analyzed and scientifically examined. Didactic conclusions for GFL lessons are then derived and presented. Finally, an outlook on this topic rounds off this article.
