Al-Manhal Al-Safi Fi Elmay Al-Aroudh wal Qawafi by Imam Al-Hassan bin Yahya Al-Qassimi (1343 AH): A Study and Investigation
Abstract
This research includes a study and investigation of the manuscript, Al-Manhal Al-Safi Fi Elmay Al-Aroudh wal Qawafi (The Pure Source for the Two Fields of Prosody and Rhymes) written by Imam Al-Hassan bin Yahya Al-Qassimi (1343 AH). It is an introduction to the disciplines of prosody and rhymes, in which the author, using various evidences and examples, presented the terms of prosody and rhymes with a simplified explanation, and a brief summary of what was extensively discussed in details in other books of prosody and rhymes. The researcher attempted to publish this manuscript, as it had not been investigated before, and as a contribution to the dissemination of heritage. The research was organized into an introduction, two sections, and a conclusion. The two sections included an introduction about the author and the manuscript.
