Abstract
The contemporary Arabic novel, with its aesthetic dimensions and modernist style, is a profound achievement in terms of linguistic structure and critical approaches that concern the text itself. The Arabic novel adopted philosophical approaches that acknowledge the inability of the human mind to comprehend the universe and its phenomen, and this is what we find in the novels of Ibrahim al-Kuni and his interpretations of the desert environment, the features of the hidden, and making everything related to it a role in the life of the Bedouin. In this article, we try to shed light on the story of Anubis, and Al-Kuni's method in deciphering this Berber myth
