Abstract

In this article we aim to shed light on the role of the Moorish character in La Mano de Fátima by Ildefonso Falcones. It is a central part of the plot and reflects the struggle of this group to maintain their identity and culture in a difficult and conflictive historical moment in 16th century Spain. The central aim of this study is to examine the role of the characters as key elements in revealing the complexity of the plot, highlighting their ability to convey subtle meanings and messages through their interactions and evolutions throughout the narrative.
