Tzvetan Todorov's Critical Theses in the Post-Colonialist Orbit of Criticism

Abstract

The research proceeds from the premise that Zvetan Todorov's critical theses in the course of post-colonial criticism constituted a new cultural turning point, based on history and analysis of the discourse and strategies by which it produces meaning, in order to represent the ideology of the times, as part of an enlightening bet that seeks to contribute to the understanding of today's problems, in the context of a historical project that emphasizes the importance of historical awareness in theoretical practice.
