Abstract
Arabic rhetoric is one of the valuable Arab heritage-based gains, but it is still in its very early form despite its different purposes through the ages. This study attempts to manifest the most important distinguishing aspects of rhetorical terminology as introduced by the early Kalam school represented in Al-Jahiz, and late Kalam school represented in Al-Qazwini. This is carried out in view to determine the extent of consistence with the educational purpose, and to take note of the conceptual structure in terms of the scientific capacity that requires a relevant study of science for its own sake.
