Abstract

Western societies in this era have witnessed significant transformations in the living conditions of women. The female body has experienced tremendous liberation under the pressure of numerous feminist activists (contraception, abortion, sexual freedom, etc.), in addition to cosmetics, plastic surgery, and other advancements. This opens the door to several issues, including those related to the cultural, social, and value-based aspects of Arab societies, and whether globalization is indifferent to the identity of societies. Philosophy addresses these and other questions from both theoretical and practical perspectives to reveal the various paradoxes of this issue and its possible solutions.
