Religious Controls And Their Impact On University Student Practices
Main Article Content
Abstract
Religious principles, as a type of social control, play a significant role in the lives of female students. However, the degree of this influence and effectiveness depends on the strategies and methodologies these students employ to reconcile the religious and secular spheres within their lived reality. In other words, the impact of religious principles on the perceptions and practices of the resident student remains linked to her personality and her stance towards religion, its principles, and its sacred values, as well as towards the demands of modernity embodied in contemporary values.
