Abstract

The aim of this scientific research is the same as that of any science that seeks to reach the truth, and sociology in particular seeks to understand the reality of society and the relationships that exist within it and that give rise to certain social situations. It is represented in an attempt to uncover the reality of sex education in the Algerian family, and whether it exists or not. We also try to know the reasons for abstaining from this topic, and whether it is the same in all living levels of individuals and all educational levels? And whether, despite the changes that have occurred in Algerian society, especially its openness to the outside world, society has maintained its position of neglecting this type of education, especially after the emergence of sexually transmitted diseases such as AIDS.
