كيف يساهم الفن الإسلامي في إثراء التنوع الثقافي العربي الأوروبي

Abstract

Such a problem requires a critical analytical study, which we can formulate as follows: Is there any meaning to speak of Islamic art? In other words, is it possible for Islamic art to exist? Do the arts of Islamic peoples possess a reality and forms that distinguish them from the arts of other peoples and unite them? If so, should these distinctive characteristics be explained, if not by strict religious data, then at least by socio-religious data resulting from the ideology and way of life that divine revelation seeks? Is it legitimate, both in the past and in the specific and new circumstances of today, to speak of Islamic art instead of Iranian, Arab, Syrian, Maghrebi, or Turkish art?
