Abstract

This study aims to understand the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic on individuals. This study falls under the fields of medical sociology and the sociology of the body, given the importance of their topics and what they study regarding health and disease issues and their relationship to the environment and the body, and the close link between biological factors and social factors, especially in the decision of physical distancing and home quarantine. After our analysis of the phenomenon, it became clear that the biological and social factors are connected to the extent that the initial elimination of the pandemic before the discovery of the drug was physical distancing by staying away from contacts, especially which had repercussions on social cohesion, whether negative or positive.
