Abstract

This paper, as its title might initially suggest, does not aim to provide a comprehensive overview of existing studies on Fanon, though that is undoubtedly important. Such a task has its own experts, those adept at rigorous academic methodology. Rather, the purpose of the title is to analyze Fanon's thought in light of his own writings, seeking insight into the painful present we are currently experiencing as we look toward the future. Therefore, it is clear that the aim of this paper is to build a strong present, as Nietzsche, the philosopher of the will, would say.
