Abstract

We do not intend, through these questions and others, to establish a definition or construct a concept of applied philosophy, nor do we aim to add to existing knowledge, whether regarding the systems and theories found in the history of philosophy or even the later theorizing of contemporary philosophers. It suffices to observe how many philosophical contributions and articles have addressed or been incorporated into discussions of the "coronavirus pandemic." Were contemporary thinkers, philosophers, researchers, and those interested in the subject compelled to do so? I don't think so. Rather, it is because philosophy is no longer, by definition, meant to address the problems of lived reality.
