Abstract

This research paper aims to address the issue of abortion, which is one of the most prominent issues that applied philosophy cares about because of its connection to the subject of the body. It imposes a debate between those who support the act of abortion, who call for the demand of the principle of the right to choose, which is what the feminist movement establishes and takes an ethical stance on, based on the woman’s right to dispose of her body and therefore to proceed with it or not, and those who oppose it, who call for the demand of the principle of the right to life, which morally legitimizes the fetus’s right to life and what it carries of sanctity for the human being.
