Abstract: Work is one of the most prominent axes on which the individual’s entity is based in all aspects, which made it the subject of study for several disciplines, which lead  us to question the philosophical value of work, especially  in the existential philosophy trying to reveal the existential dimension of work and its relationship to the realization of the individual’s self and achieving his truth, by answering this problem: Does work contribute to revealing the truth of the individual? how did existentialism transcend the classic proposition of the value of work as a foundation for a new philosophy of action?
