Abstract
:Philosophy has been subjected to a campaign of trivialization due to its perceived
conflict with religion and scientific thinking, leading some to reject it as a waste of time, or to
view it as an exclusive domain for theoretical minds. Consequently, Dr. Boukhari defends the
value of philosophy, illustrating through a series of inquiries what philosophy can teach us
via wonder, questioning, dialogue, critique, and method. These skills serve as the impetus for
its necessity in our universities, enabling us to adopt informed stances on the problems
encountered in our lives. Furthermore, philosophy serves as an essential guide in an era
dominated by materialism, which has encroached upon human dignity and our cosmic
standing. Philosophy is, ultimately, the act of thinking—the path to happiness through the
power of reason and action.
