Publishing Ethics

1. Confidentiality and Objectivity: Journal of At-Tadwin adopts rules of confidentiality and objectivity in the review process for both researchers and reviewers. If the reviewers have differing viewpoints regarding an article, it will be sent to a third reviewer.

2. The article is sent to experts without mentioning the author's name or institutional affiliation.

3. The review period shall not exceed 30 days. In case of a delay in a reviewer's report, the article will be withdrawn from them and assigned to another reviewer.

4. The review must focus on the content and structure of the article, ensuring it is free from plagiarism and scientific dishonesty.

5. The journal adopts a strict and clear policy defining the duties and responsibilities of each member of the editorial board.

6. Neither the Editor-in-Chief nor anyone other than the person directly in charge of the editing process (the editor or their delegate) may discuss or examine the article with any other person, including the author.

Information or ideas obtained through reading must remain confidential and cannot be used for personal gain.

7. The journal commits to notifying the researcher of the decision: approval for publication without modification, approval following minor revisions based on expert reports, or an apology for non-publication, specifying the reasons for rejection.

8. Respecting the Non-Discrimination Rule: Editors and reviewers evaluate research materials based purely on intellectual content, adhering to the principle of non-discrimination based on race, gender, religious belief, political philosophy of the author, or any other form of discrimination. The standard evaluation metrics are adherence to academic writing rules, scientific reasoning, and the methodology used to analyze, discuss, and present ideas.

9. Respecting Conflict of Interest Rules: Avoiding any conflict of interest between editors and researchers, whether resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with any author, company, or institution connected to the research.

10. The journal notes that unpublished materials contained in submitted papers may not be used by any of its editorial members or reviewers in their own personal research.

11. The journal holds intellectual property rights over articles published within its scientific pages. Articles may not be republished in whole or in part, whether in Arabic or translated into a foreign language, without explicit written permission from the editorial management.

12. Journal of At-Tadwin is committed to free publishing. Researchers and authors are completely exempt from all publication fees.

13. The journal reserves the right to legally prosecute any author guilty of plagiarism.

14. The journal is committed to guaranteeing scientific originality; all submitted manuscripts undergo rigorous screening for plagiarism using Detectia software before starting the peer-review process.
