Main Article Content
Abstract
The study addressed the problem of proposing a planning framework for achieving social democracy. The rationale for selecting this research problem stemmed from the significance of the Third Way ideology, the principles of social democracy, and the need to formulate and propose alternative social policies. The study aimed to develop a proposed planning model for social democracy as an approach to social policy-making in Egypt, and to formulate a forward-looking vision for social policy-making within the context of social democracy.
The research adopted a descriptive design and employed the social survey method using a sample. The study was conducted on a random sample of experts in the fields of social policy and social democracy. Data were collected through interviews with experts and specialists.
The findings indicated that the study successfully achieved its objectives, answered its research questions, and verified its hypotheses. Furthermore, it developed a proposed planning framework for social democracy and presented a prospective vision for social policy-making in Egypt within the framework of social democracy.
