Abstract

The oldest and most refined form of art created by man is the art of expression. This type of art began with wisdom and the love of it, and with democracy, which was and still is one of the aspects of this art. Indeed, it is not possible to talk about eloquence and the art of rhetoric in isolation from philosophy, democracy, civil society, and the city itself. The relationship between these elements is a symbiotic relationship. If it were not for eloquence and rhetoric, democracy would not exist.
