Abstract

The research deals with the cross-fertilization between French and German philosophy during the twentieth century, an interaction that established a new philosophical moment, the Franco-German moment, which was practically embodied in the second half of the twentieth century through the organization of meetings between French and German philosophers. Here, we will focus on the meeting of Jacques Derrida (deconstruction) and Hans-Georg Gadamer (hermeneutics).
