Abstract

Cultural diversity is among the concepts that emerged at the beginning of the new century, and this term has been associated with a range of meanings. This has led to diverse perspectives, some welcoming the term and others rejecting it. The first perspective considers cultural diversity a positive factor in itself, viewing it as a sharing of the richness embodied by each of the world's cultures. This indicates unity within the context of exchange and dialogue. The second perspective, however, sees cultural differences as the reason for the inability to demonstrate our shared humanity, which has led to numerous conflicts. Therefore, it is necessary to shed light on this term, as it is among the concepts that have witnessed interaction and friction between cultures, resulting in both tension and harmony.
