Abstract

International standards are an important element in organizing and managing archival institutions. Many archival organizations and associations in a large number of countries have been interested in creating and developing a set of unified specifications and standards for various types of archival institutions. They have also been interested in reviewing these standards periodically to ensure their suitability and validity in facing the changes and developments that occur in the field of organizing and managing documentary institutions in the digital environment.
