Abstract

This intervention aims to reflect on the future of culture from the perspective of art, considering it as part of what is known as "cultural security." Future strategies must be developed to enhance this security and critically address its shortcomings, moving beyond them. Because the current state of art has been dominated by a "system of triviality" and encroached upon by artistic capitalism and the cultural industry, it became imperative for us to explore the lines of resistance it has forged to generate meaning. For one of the signs of a culture's collapse is the collapse of its art and its descent into a barrenness of meaning, especially since all artistic works possess meaning; otherwise, they cease to be works of art.
