Abstract

The association of any cultural event in general with a particular city is not arbitrary or accidental, as the choice is subject in its entirety to certain conditions that require the selection of one city over another, just like the competitions that take place in the world to host a particular championship, where cities compete to win the honor of organizing that event, regardless of its nature (political, cultural, economic, etc.). Therefore, in this intervention, we seek to identify the characteristics that should be available in the urban space to host cultural events such as cultural festivals, taking some examples as a case study.
