Abstract

Our findings in this research indicate that young people and students are hesitant to join any political group or movement. They perceive such affiliation as a restriction on their intellectual freedom. However, those who choose to join—whether a movement, current, or political party—are few in number, and they may have made this choice for strategic social or psychological reasons, or even spontaneously without any planning.
