Abstract

The presence of youth in various scientific discussions is a timeless and enduring topic, as youth is a generation that renews itself from one era to the next. As a group, they hold their destiny in their own hands, whether we like it or not, and they strive to assert their presence, disregarding all judgments and labels. Those who call them reckless and hasty may be mistaken. History may prove otherwise, for it is through their efforts that victories and triumphs have been achieved. Therefore, it is incumbent upon all nations to give them special care and attention, for the well-being of a nation depends on the well-being of its youth. Based on this premise, we have chosen to discuss Algerian youth and their role in producing and shaping counter-cultures, drawing upon our observations and critique of the reality we live in.
