Abstract
As is well known, the fields of science are diverse. These sciences have witnessed cognitive development and scientific progress, especially in the fields of physics, chemistry, biology, and also mathematics. The reason for this is the insistence of scientists and thinkers on investigating natural phenomena and trying to find the true causes of their occurrence. Several theories have emerged. Meanwhile, we find that the humanities, which include several branches such as psychology, sociology, anthropology, history, etc., also witnessed clear development in some of their branches between 1838 and 1911, particularly the contributions of Dilthey. Regardless of the differences in their topics and the methodology they adopt, human reality remains the only subject they attempt to study.
