Abstract

Manuscript heritage represents an important part of the history and civilization of nations, and the legacy of successive generations. Therefore, it has received great attention from researchers and those interested in it, in terms of cataloging, studying and verifying it. Algeria, like other countries in the Islamic and Arab world, is distinguished by the diversity of its heritage and manuscript production. Figures have emerged who have raised the torch of preserving manuscripts, among them we find Professor Mukhtar Hassani, who has many books on cataloging Algerian manuscripts and even on verifying some manuscripts.
