Abstract

The intellectual project of the Algerian thinker Malek Bennabi falls within the broader civilizational project as a genuine priority, encompassing strategic activities across three globalized realms: ideas, things, and people. Our thinker wagered on the possibility of a genuine renaissance movement if these realms could move as a unified and cohesive whole. This perspective emerges amidst serious problems faced by the Islamic world in the modern era, particularly under colonial policies that continue to shape Islamic reality. The most dangerous of these is the obliteration of this nation's identity, both in its personal and national capacities. This occurs against the backdrop of a widespread fascination with the civilizational achievements of the colonizer. Under these circumstances, many members of the Muslim community have dedicated themselves to exploring ways to restore the course of history and to convince their people of the dangers surrounding their existence and their present, in relation to the present of other nations. Consequently, the approaches and solutions to this challenge have varied.
