Abstract
This study aims to highlight the issue of religious dialogue and its role in promoting peaceful coexistence between religions. It is one of the most widespread and common concepts, both ancient and modern, and this is mainly due to its dialogical nature based on the idea of dialogue, rapprochement, and understanding. This characteristic has made it the basis through which religions have sought to describe it in order to promote communication and coexistence. This study highlights the viewpoint of the researcher and thinker, Muhammad al-Talbi, on the issue of religious dialogue between religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam), by focusing on the Islamic perspective on this issue specifically and its grounding within Arab-Islamic culture, thus establishing a culture of tolerance, acceptance of the other, and rejection of violence between different religions.
