Abstract
In this research paper, we attempt to examine the importance of scientific studies and their development through the concept of epistemology, which plays an important role in knowledge in general. Starting from the epistemological break introduced by Gaston Bachelard, which aims to put an end to previous and general knowledge, in order to try to keep pace with new scientific developments, because the break is not a separation from previous scientific thought or an absolute rejection of it, but rather a renewed containment of it, and a development of its cognitive frameworks as well. On the other hand, we find it returning to the field of psychology and the psychoanalysis of scientific knowledge, with the aim of revealing mental repressions and showing their role in scientific work, in addition to the presence of epistemology in various fields of knowledge, in order to study and critique these sciences in their various branches, as Lalande says, and thus to show epistemological values through the dialogue between reason and experience, and an attempt to reach a scientific truth in various sciences and knowledge, and thus achieve that scientific communication between the multiple fields of knowledge.
