Abstract

The people of Toujane* have been skilled in weaving since ancient times, so the products have diversified and multiplied, and its craftsmen are distinguished by two types of textile production. The first is the category of clothing such as “al-Bakhnouq” in its various forms, in addition to many other clothed textiles such as “al-Katfiya”, “al-Burnus”, and “al-Taajira”. The second category is furnishings such as “al-Marqoum al-Toujani”.
