Abstract
The sacred, from a psychological perspective, is a state of feeling, described and endowed with the quality of sanctity. It is the individual's emotional experience, without any corresponding object or logical relationship. The sacred text is the foundational text upon which all other texts in cultural writings are built. Therefore, any interpretation based on the former is an interpretation of the interpreting subject, not of the foundational text.
