Dystopia of advanced technological societies When the biotechnological revolution turns into dystopia
Main Article Content
Abstract
The problematic of this intervention sheds light on the side effects of the development of technology and science on human life, by presenting narratives and philosophical treatises that predicted a dark fate for the developments of biotechnology, "the dystopia of biotechnology". The major scientific revolutions and their effects on man and the concepts of "human nature" and "human dignity" are discussed. Then he presented dystopian narratives, such as the novel "Brave New World" and the novel "1984". He then presented the views of some philosophers such as Herbert Marcuse and Francis Fukuyama on the issue of the consequences of biotechnology on the human future.
