Abstract

This study examines the future of art and the limits of artistic experience in contemporary religious societies by analyzing the epistemological and historical relationship between art, religion, and science. It argues that art and religion constitute two fundamental forms of human knowledge and that the tension between them stems not from the essence of religion itself but from certain forms of religiosity that reject interpretation and dialogue. The study further demonstrates that the development of modern science and technology has reshaped the role of both art and religion without diminishing their significance in understanding human existence and promoting the values of beauty, tolerance, and coexistence. It also emphasizes that art possesses a unique capacity to foster dialogue among cultures and religions, while technological advancement should reinforce rather than undermine the authenticity and humanistic mission of artistic expression. The study concludes that the integration of art, religion, and science provides a promising framework for renewing human experience and encouraging intercultural dialogue in the face of extremism and materialistic reductionism
