السينما من منظور فلسفي: قراءة فينومينولوجية للصوت والصورة

Abstract
What are the points of convergence between philosophy and cinema? Or how can philosophy, as an abstract discourse directed at a specific audience, be reconciled with cinema, as a creative field aimed at the general public, based on a blend of image, thought, and imagination in a way that is new compared to philosophy? Historically, philosophy and cinema are far apart. While the former has its origins at least 26 centuries ago, the latter is only a century and a half old. This is from a historical perspective. Philosophically, that is, theoretically and epistemologically, the distance between them is almost greater than the temporal distance, given that Plato defined the boundaries of each, not directly, but based on their respective foundations. Philosophy is concerned only with what is higher and more sublime, while cinema's focus is limited to the realms of imagination, memory, and the senses—something Plato, in fact, rejects.
