Abstract

It was not difficult for the ego to overcome the stage of self-absorption in the modern stage as long as it was the legislator and the primary reference for all knowledge. However, human nature tended towards consolidating the relationship between the ego and the other through philosophical writings calling for openness to the other and establishing peace and coexistence with him. Here is the Corona pandemic (COVID-19) overturning the balances of this coexistence, and imposing selfishness again indirectly through the fear of the other as a threat, and the spread of repeated waves of panic, existential anxiety, as a result of this imposed the ego's self-absorption and isolation at a time when the discourses of otherness and restoring the dignity of the other who suffered existential marginalization have increased. How did the ego deal with the other during the pandemic?
