Simon De Beauvoir Between Postmodernism And Feminism
Main Article Content
Abstract
Simone de Beauvoir is trying to find the middle ground between recognition and total elimination of the ego and the other, as women are the central theme, so they are able to enjoy the two worlds, while acknowledging the importance of social construction in which the subject takes place The concept of "the other" is a multi-meaning concept, different in different philosophical and philosophical visions, although there is agreement that this "other" transcends the meaning of the "ego." When Sartre said, "Hell is the others," he wants the absolute opposite of the opposite or the existential ego Because it limits the freedom and the existential formation of the individual But Simon de Beauvoir's "other" has certain meanings, including what the inferiority of a woman was when she was placed in second place after the first man.
