La translittération arabe-latin à l’ère du numérique Arabic-Latin Transliteration in the Digital Era

Abstract
ABSTRACT: This article focuses on the Arabic-Latin transliteration alphabet. Interest in transliteration here is digital literacy: the multitude of transliteration solutions and dedicated Unicode characters make knowledge and manipulation in terms of transliteration difficult to any person not accustomed to advanced techniques of digital. This article answers three essential questions. What is transliteration and what are its character needs? What does digital offer as tools for transliteration? And how can a writer access transliteration characters to meet writing needs?
RÉSUMÉ: Cet article s’intéresse à l’alphabet de translittération arabe-latin. L’intérêt porté à la translittération ici est de l’ordre de la littératie numérique : la multitude des solutions pour la translittération et des caractères Unicode qui lui sont consacrés rendent la connaissance et la manipulation en termes de translittération difficile à toute personne inhabituée des techniques avancées du numérique. Cet article répond à trois interrogations essentielles. Qu’est ce que la translittération et quels sont ses besoins ? Que propose le numérique pour la translittération ? Et comment un scripteur peut-il accéder aux caractères de translittération pour satisfaire ses besoins ?
